Our ‘Wedding Package’ includes:

Exclusive Use of Main Hall and fully equipped Commercial Kitchen, from Friday 1.00pm to Sunday 12 noon, allowing time for setting-up before, and clearing up after, your Big Day.

Exclusive Use of Committee Room and small servery from Friday 1.00pm to Sunday 12 noon. This room is often used as a ‘rumpus room’ for little children during the speeches and grown-up stuff, or ‘quiet room’ for older guests and features a 32” colour TV set with Blu-Ray player.

Use of all tables and chairs.

Fire regulations permit us to seat 100 people at tables in the Main Hall.

Use of basic crockery, cutlery and glassware. Function-quality cutlery and crockery (white) is available at no extra charge.

Full use of our audio-visual package including CD/iPod input facilities, PA system, overhead projector and screen for your family DVD’s or for a rolling photographic display.

Cleaning

The Hall will have been fully cleaned within 48 hours of the start of your booking period. Wedding hirers need to arrange a full professional clean at the end of the hire. We do request that hirers take their rubbish, bottles, cans etc. home and to use the cleaning materials provided to leave the Hall in the condition in which they found it. A surcharge may be imposed should additional cleaning be required.

Caterer and Bar

We can recommend the services of various locally based licensees to run your bar, or are happy to discuss alternative bar personnel as long as they hold the necessary licences.

We can recommend the services of professional caterers or are happy to accommodate alternative caterers of your choice.

Music and Entertainment

The Hall is happy to accommodate your disco or live band but this must be within the Hall only out of consideration and respect for our neighbours.

However for a celebration/ wedding we will allow up to one hour of outside music for the purposes of either background /ambience or for a wedding ceremony (walk-in, register signing, walk-out). However the noise level must be kept to a reasonable level and there must be no outside music at all after dusk.

All music inside must end by 11pm latest (10.30pm on a Sunday)

Safety and Play Area

In the interests of child safety we ask hirers not to permit children to use the play area after darkness has fallen. We do strongly recommend that children using the play area are properly supervised.

Marquees

No additional charge is made should the hirer wish to use a marquee or similar, as long as this is provided by an approved supplier and fully insured by the hirer or marquee supplier and is used solely for ‘overspill catering’ and not as a location for music as this will prove to be intrusive to our neighbours. Marquees and outdoor equipment must be moved by 12 noon Sunday.

If you decide to book your wedding with us, you will have a meeting before the event to document every detail of your day. You or your chosen responsible person will be briefed by a hall representative as you take over the hall and met at the end to check you out.
