Covid-19 - Coronavirus

Whilst the Harmans Cross Village Hall remains open and available to hire, there are currently no groups meeting in the Hall in line with Govn recommendations.  The Village Hall field remains open and available for your daily exercise, but please do NOT use the playground equipment.  Could all dog walkers please ensure they clean up after their dogs, and take the dog waste bag home with them and dispose in their own rubbish.  Dorset Council will NOT be emptying dog waste or any other community bins until further notice.

We will continually review our approach, in line with government guidance.

Post Office at the Village Hall re-opens

The Post Office facility at the Village Hall re-opens on Thursday 4th June.  As previously, it will be open from 9.30 - 11.30 every Thursday morning.

Do you need help?

The HXVH community are supporting the initiative of the local Parish Councils and the Churches of the Dubber area in forming two support groups - Worth & Harmans Cross, and Langton (Kingston residents can choose either) - which you can contact if you need help with any of the following services because of self-isolation:

  • Urgent medical supplies
  • Picking up shopping
  • Posting mail
  • Or if you just need a friendly phone call or Facetime

We are here to help during this difficult time

Prescription pick-up and delivery from Corfe Surgery

We have arranged with the amazing team at Corfe Surgery a daily pick up service and delivery of prescriptions for residents requiring the service covering the Harmans Cross, Worth Matravers, Kingston, Langton and Corfe areas.  We will visit the surgery Monday-Friday around 3pm and deliver any prescriptions ready then.  Just ask the surgery for the delivery service.
